Coconut husk has great air and water retention characteristics, and is resistant to break down unlike the pea moss. This makes it a great for use as mulch, soil treatment and a hydroponic growth medium and ground cover for flower beds and gardens. Natural coconut husks are cut into chips in various sizes for various applications.
